Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SKA246 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered to resolve common issues in the Toyota A246E and A245E automatic transmissions. This kit specifically targets problems like shuttle shifts, bind-up or flare during the 2-3 shift, slippage under throttle in 3rd or 4th gear, engine stalling at stops, and TCC slip codes. The kit addresses critical wear points within the valve body. It includes a hardened steel TCC relay boost valve and bushing, which, when worn, can lead to lock-up control issues and overheating. Additionally, it features a redesigned solenoid modulator valve system, including a hardened steel valve, bushing, spring, end plug, and retainer. This repair kit is compatible with the 2003-2008 A246E transmission used in the Toyota Matrix (1.8L engine) and the 2003-2008 two-wheel drive A246E in the Pontiac Vibe. It also fits the 2003-2008 A245E transmission equipped with an EPC solenoid in the Toyota Corolla (1.8L engine). Included in the kit are USA-made hardened steel components for the TCC relay boost valve and bushing, along with the solenoid modulator valve, bushing, spring, end plug, and retainer. A 0.055” drill bit is also provided for installation.
