Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SKA6MF is a SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit engineered to resolve common issues in specific automatic transmissions. It is designed for 2009 and newer Hyundai and Kia vehicles equipped with A6MF1/2, A6GF1, or A6LF1/2/3 transmissions, as well as 2013-2016 Jeep and 2012-2016 Dodge vehicles with the 6F24 transmission. This kit specifically addresses severe bore wear in the two reducing valves within the valve body, which are critical for regulating pressure to solenoids and ensuring proper line pressure output. It also targets wear in the TCC control valve bushing, which can impair the computer's ability to control the lock-up clutch. By replacing these worn components with oversized, USA-made hardened steel reducing valves and a precision USA-made aluminum TCC control bushing, the kit restores hydraulic circuit integrity and corrects shift quality issues. Common symptoms that this kit corrects include brutal 6-4 kick-down bangs, erratic shifting, flares or neutrals during upshifts and downshifts, TCC shudder, TCC slip, and codes such as P0731 through P0735 and P0741. The kit includes the necessary oversized reducing valves, a TCC control bushing, and a valve body layout diagram. Installation requires reaming the bores oversized, for which TransGo offers the A4A6-RV-TK Universal Reducing Regulator Repair Tool Kit (sold separately).
