Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK E4OD is a SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit specifically designed for Ford E4OD and 4R100 transmissions, fitting all models from 1989 to the present. This kit offers a significant improvement in transmission performance, featuring smooth, short shifts and optimized converter charge pressure that matches engine torque. This enhancement helps to reduce Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) slip codes. Additionally, the SK E4OD provides better cooling and lubrication through included optional internal upgrades, along with improved converter feed and capacity. It is engineered to correct and prevent common transmission issues such as soft shifts, particularly in 2nd and 3rd gears, converter burn-up, reverse delay, hot reverse issues, converter slide/shudder, and pump buzz. The kit also addresses specific diagnostic trouble codes, including 628, P1740, and P1744. Included components in the kit feature a pressure regulator boost valve, 1-2 shift valve spring, line regulator valve, innovative line-to-lube components, other calibration items, a high-temperature direct clutch seal, a coast clutch HD snap ring, an OD housing spiral lock snap ring, and an updated direct clutch outer seal.
