Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK TF80SC SHIFT KIT® is a comprehensive valve body repair kit engineered to address common transmission performance issues in specific Aisin Warner applications. This kit is designed to fit GEN1 7-Solenoid valve bodies including the AW TF-80SC, AF40, AF40-6, and AM6 transmissions found in Volvo and Saab vehicles. It includes (2) drop-in solenoid regulator valve assemblies, a drop-in TCC/lock-up boost valve assembly, and parts for renewing pressure control solenoids, helping to correct problems like rough shifts, part throttle downshift bang, flares during up-shifts and kick-down, rough coast downshifts, no pressure rise, TCC slip/shudder, and overall poor shift quality. It also addresses specific diagnostic trouble codes such as P0731, P0732, P0733, and P0741. Crucially, this kit does not fit GEN2 8-Solenoid valve bodies (AW6AX-EL, AY6AX-EL, and AY6A-EL). It is designed for specific Volvo and Saab models including the C30 (2010), C70 (2010), S60 (2006-2010), V70 (2006-2010), S80 (2007-2010), S90 (2007-2010), XC60 (2009), XC70 (2009-2010), XC90 (2006-2010), 9-3 (2006-2010), and 9-5 (2010). The product is also noted as having "Transmission Removal Not Required" for installation. Note that while the kit aims to resolve a wide array of shifting problems, compatibility is strictly limited to GEN1 7-Solenoid valve bodies and specific Volvo and Saab applications. The S80 V8 transmission is specifically mentioned as not being compatible with the XC90 V8 due to transmission design and mounting differences.
