The TransGo SK 44-55E is a valve body repair kit designed for automatic transmissions. It is compatible with 4R44E, 4R55E, 5R44E, and 5R55E models from 1994 onwards. This kit corrects and prevents common transmission issues such as forward clutch failure, 2-3 cut loose, hard throttle, 2-3 slip, 2nd and 4th band failure, won't move, TCC complaints, and no reverse.

The TransGo SK 44-55E is a comprehensive shift kit and valve body repair kit engineered for automatic transmissions. It is designed to service 4R44E, 4R55E, 5R44E, and 5R55E transmissions manufactured from 1994 to the present. This kit addresses a range of common transmission problems, including forward clutch failure, 2-3 cut loose, hard throttle engagement, slipping in 2nd and 3rd gears, 2nd and 4th band failure, inability to move, TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) complaints, and a lack of reverse gear. It also helps to resolve diagnostic trouble codes P0731, P0732, P0733, P0734, and P0735. In addition to correcting these issues, the TransGo SK 44-55E allows for adjustability of the shift feel, enabling a more personalized driving experience. The kit includes new and improved high-temperature clutch rings, an EPC (Electronic Pressure Control) relief system, upgraded early and late center support sealing rings, and a center support shim for enhanced performance and durability.
