Description

The TransGo SK 4F27E SHIFT KIT® is a valve body repair kit engineered to resolve common issues in specific Ford and Mazda automatic transmissions. It is designed for 4-speed models from 2000 onwards, including the 4F27E, FN4A-EL, and FNR5, as well as 5-speed models from 2006 onwards, such as the FS5A-EL. This kit features drop-in components that effectively correct and prevent a range of transmission problems. These include error codes like P0731, P0732, P0741, and P0757, as well as undesirable shifting characteristics such as wrong gear starts, lack of a second gear, skipping second gear, and kick-down neutrals at higher speeds. It also addresses torque converter clutch (TCC) slip and related diagnostic trouble codes. Included in the kit are essential components like two solenoid regulator assemblies and a solenoid switch valve. The design aims to improve shifting performance and reliability without requiring transmission removal for installation.
