Description

The TransGo SK 5R55E is a comprehensive SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kit engineered for 4R44E, 4R55E, 5R44E, and 5R55E automatic transmissions, specifically for models from 1994 onwards. It corrects and prevents issues such as error codes P0731, P0732, P0733, P0734, and P0735. Additionally, it addresses forward clutch failure, 2-3 cut loose, hard throttle conditions, 2-3 slip, 2nd and 4th band failure, the vehicle not moving, TCC complaints, and lack of reverse gear. The kit also allows for enhanced shift feel adjustability. Key enhancements included in the kit feature new and improved high-temperature clutch rings, an EPC (Electronic Pressure Control) relief system, upgraded sealing rings for both early and late center supports, and a center support shim for improved stability. The transmissions covered by this kit include the 4R44E (1995-UP), 4R55E (1995-UP), 5R44E (1995-UP), and 5R55E (1995-UP).
