Valve Body Repair Kit for 6F35 GEN2 Transmission

The TransGo SK6F35-G2 is a specialized valve body repair kit engineered to resolve common issues found in the 6F35 GEN2 automatic transmission. This kit is specifically designed for 2012 and newer Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda vehicles utilizing this transmission. It directly targets prevalent complaints including 2-3 cut-loose conditions, lack of reverse gear, TCC slip, and various gear ratio and solenoid performance codes that often arise from wear in the solenoid pressure regulator valve bore. This kit includes several key components to restore proper transmission function. A new, oversized solenoid pressure regulator valve is provided to recalibrate pressure regulation, requiring the use of the TransGo AFL-G2-TK toolkit for bore reaming. Additionally, a drop-in hardened steel TCC regulator valve with a scarf cut sealing ring is included to repair TCC issues without bore reaming. The kit is completed with an improved valve body separator plate and gaskets. It is crucial to note that this kit does not fit GEN1 units of the 6F35 transmission. The installation process for the oversized solenoid pressure regulator valve requires the specialized AFL-G2-TK toolkit, which is compatible with multiple GEN2 transmission platforms.
