The Honda 12030-RTA-000 is a genuine Honda head cover gasket set, also referred to as a valve cover gasket. This complete set includes one valve cover gasket, four spark plug tube seals, and six valve cover bolt grommets, providing all the necessary seals for a proper valve cover resealing. It is recommended to replace all seals when the valve cover is removed, as old gaskets, tube seals, and grommets can lead to future leaks and oil contamination in the spark plugs. Proper installation requires cleaning valve cover and head surfaces completely before installation, ensuring old gasket material is removed. The spark plug tube seals and bolt grommets should be properly seated before installing the valve cover gasket. It is crucial to torque the valve cover bolts to the factory specification (around 9 ft-lbs) to avoid crushing the gasket. After installation, run the engine and check for leaks. This gasket set fits K20Z1, K20Z3, K23A1, K24A1, and K24A4 engines. It is compatible with the following Honda and Acura models: 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si, 2006 Acura RSX Type S, 2007-2012 Acura RDX, 2006-2007 Honda Accord, and 2007-2009 Honda CR-V. Additionally, it fits 2006-2008 Acura TSX models.
