The Supertech Valve Spring & Titanium Retainer Set is a performance valvetrain upgrade for Volkswagen and Audi 2.0T FSI and TSI engines. This kit includes 16 springs and lightweight titanium retainers designed to stabilize valve motion at high RPM and help prevent valve float.

The Supertech Valve Spring & Titanium Retainer Set is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to safely extend the powerband of 2.0T FSI and TSI engines past 7,500 RPM. By pairing high-rate chrome silicon vanadium steel alloy springs with lightweight 6AL4V grade titanium retainers, the kit reduces valvetrain mass and improves stability at high engine speeds. These components allow for consistent operation up to 8,000 RPM, with potential for occasional use up to 8,500 RPM when using hydraulic lifters. The design includes a longer spring to help prevent coil bind and accommodate camshafts with higher-than-factory lift. For applications exceeding 8,000 RPM, the manufacturer recommends upgrading to solid lifter buckets and evaluating the integrity of factory rods. Please note that factory connecting rods should be updated when revving above 7,500 RPM unless confirmed safe by a professional tuner. This kit is intended for performance use and may not be suitable for the highest-mileage street applications due to the fatigue characteristics of titanium.
