It ensures valves remain precisely positioned, supporting builds from daily drivers with mild cams to turbocharged engines producing up to 1000 hp. This kit is intended for use with stock rocker arms.

It is designed to maintain precise valve positioning for a wide range of LS engine builds, from mild daily drivers to high-horsepower naturally aspirated or turbocharged applications, supporting up to 1000 hp. This kit is designed for use with stock rocker arms and is a direct fit for LS heads with 15° valve angles. It can also typically be used with LS7 heads, provided a .030” shim (Part # SS030) or .045” shim (Part numbers SS015 + SS030) is utilized. It is important to note that this kit will not fit LS9 engines; for those applications, part # SK006 is recommended. The kit includes 16 SP001-1 dual polished springs, 32 VL7°8MM-1 locks, 16 titanium (SR001-1) or chromoly steel (SR001S-1) retainers, 16 locators compatible with stock or bronze guides, and 16 VS LS valve seals. Spring specifications include 155 lbs at 1.780 inches, 380 lbs at 1.180 inches, and 400 lbs at 1.130 inches, with coil bind occurring at 1.070 inches. If roller rockers are intended, part # SK002 is recommended.
