The Turner Motorsport Valved Performance Catback Exhaust system is engineered to provide a dual personality for your E46 M3's S54 engine. With its valves closed, it offers a refined, subtle increase in volume over the stock exhaust, perfect for daily driving. Opening the valves unleashes the full, glorious sound of the S54, providing a significant increase in volume and a free-flowing path with minimal resistance, especially noticeable from 4,000 RPM and higher. Constructed with precision using FARO ARM laser scanning and SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, this cat-back features dual 2.5" 304SS mandrel-bent tubing, integrated x-pipe for an improved exhaust note, and high-flow dual valved stainless steel mufflers. The vacuum-actuated valves come with two remote key fobs for easy control, allowing you to switch between refined cruising and exhilarating performance on the fly. The system weighs 19lbs or more less than the factory exhaust, contributing to overall performance. The kit includes the mid-section with integrated X-Pipe, dual S54 valved mufflers, dual valve actuators, remote key fobs, exhaust gaskets and hardware, and new center exhaust hangers. Optional 3.5" brushed or chrome tips are available to customize the look. This cat-back exhaust is compatible with both factory headers/front sections and aftermarket headers/front sections that mate to the factory rear section. It also retains factory emissions.
