This Valvetronic Exhaust System provides two distinct tones: mild and aggressive. With the valves open, drivers can expect abundant burbles and backfires, along with a bark on downshifts that commands attention. When the valves are closed, the exhaust maintains a more subdued tone suitable for neighborhood driving or HOA compliance. The system has been Dyno verified to deliver maximum torque and horsepower. The Fabspeed Valvetronic Exhaust System is constructed from 14-16ga T304L stainless steel tubing, ensuring maximum power and durability. The system includes deluxe dual style tips, available in Carbon Fiber, Brushed Stainless, or Mirror Polished Stainless Steel finishes. It is emissions legal and offers a direct bolt-on installation, which is easily reversible. This system weighs 13lbs less than the factory rear muffler system (non-PSE). It fits all Porsche 981 Boxster/Cayman vehicles worldwide from 2013-2017. For proper installation and control of the Valvetronic exhaust, an optional Homelink connection is available. Buyers need to identify if their vehicle is equipped with the factory Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) by checking for an exhaust tip icon button on their center console. If PSE is equipped, the PSE option must be selected; otherwise, the standard exhaust option should be chosen.
