Overview
This vent solenoid is engineered to correct root-cause OE failure modes, such as corrosion and vent-path contamination, reducing comebacks on applications prone to repeat P0455 and P0442 conditions. It is electrically calibrated for coil resistance, inductance, and actuation current to precisely match PCM command thresholds for reliable on-demand actuation without triggering fault codes like P0446, P0498, or P0499.
