Variant 4 Coilover Kit

The KW Variant 4 coilover kit is engineered to provide top-level motorsport design with maximum everyday usability, suitable for supercars, sports cars, and performance-oriented sedans. It features coilover struts made from Stainless Steel Innox construction and utilizes advanced damping technologies. The system allows for independent adjustment of rebound and compression damping in both low-speed (KW TVCLH-A adjustment technology) and high-speed ranges, with adjustments made via dials offering 16 settings for high-speed and 7 settings for low-speed damping. The rebound damping is precisely tuned at the KW drive dynamics test facility and can be individually customized across 16 click positions for personalized comfort or body control. This is achieved through a two-step rebound valve with adjustable KW TVR-A technology, which manages oil flow for improved ride comfort without affecting the safety-relevant high-speed zone. External reservoirs are included to provide additional oil volume and cooling capacity, ideal for extreme performance setups. These reservoirs are filled with low gas pressure and can be mounted anywhere, accommodating the adjustable compression stage valve. Additional features include Uniball Top Mounts and Composite Spring Seats. The kit is designed to offer a lowering of 15-40mm for both the front and rear. This specific kit (3A7200DZ) is designed for the 2020+ BMW M8 (F93) Gran Coupe, including Competition models, and is compatible with vehicles originally equipped with electronic dampers.
