This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering. The calipers themselves are forged from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-free construction. Aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat resistance and unwavering performance. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street use and occasional track days, with significantly reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing expansion under pressure. Available with your choice of slotted or cross-drilled rotors, the Supercomp kit offers customization to suit your driving needs: cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are preferred for track applications. The standard kit includes (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware and an owner's manual. This Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the Mitsubishi EVO 8 (2003-2005) and EVO 9 (2006-2007).
