The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface. The extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft quality billet, featuring differential bore configuration and weighing just over 5lbs each. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications include a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. For street use, cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and offer increased bite. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, featuring grooves to wipe away heat, dust, and gases. This specific kit, part number BKSB200-836CO, is designed for the Subaru BRZ from 2013-2020. It includes replacement calipers, rotors, pads, stainless-steel brake lines, and all necessary hardware.
