The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is an extreme front brake upgrade designed to provide the ultimate stopping power for your Ford GT40. This sophisticated bolt-on kit features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to the Procomp series, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering. All calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for better heat resistance.

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft quality billet, weighing just over 7lbs each. It features a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the larger caliper size in the ProComp series, 4 brake pads are standard per caliper. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are best suited for vehicles with more track use.
