The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides superior stopping power for your vehicle, integrating new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads' surface during application. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which is machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighs just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, and includes machined-in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design inherently improves pad wear and enhances caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. Every rotor is meticulously heat-treated and balanced before shipment to ensure optimal performance. Ksport offers rotor type recommendations based on intended use: cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles that will see more track use than daily driving.
