The BDS Suspension coil springs offer a way to custom tune the spring rate and ride height for lifted Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD models. Specifically, they provide a 3-inch lift for diesel engines and a 4-inch lift for gas engines, fitting 2014-2023 Dodge Ram 2500 and 2014-2023 3500 4WD trucks. These direct OE replacement coil springs are constructed from high tensile steel, utilizing properly sized wire diameters to ensure maximum reliability and prevent premature coil bind. The springs are treated with a polyester-based powder coat for enhanced flexibility and durability, and are preset with hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue and prevent sagging over time. Additionally, they undergo a shot peening process to increase tensile strength, allowing for maximum wheel travel without compromising spring life. The manufacturing process uses either cold winding with chrome silicon 9254 or hot winding with 5160 steel to guarantee long-term performance. Installation is described as moderate in difficulty and typically takes approximately 1-2 hours with the necessary tools.
