Description

The Versachem 27039 Black RTV Silicone is a high-strength sealant designed for DIY repairs and sealing projects. It forms a tough, flexible rubber gasket that is waterproof and weather-resistant. This silicone compound can be used for automotive gaskets, boat repairs, sealing windows and doors, or bonding various materials including metal, glass, plastic, and vinyl. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -100°F to 450°F continuously and up to 600°F intermittently. The sealant sets in 8-10 minutes and fully cures in 12-24 hours.
