VCDS HEX-NET Enthusiast Diagnostic System

The Ross-Tech VCDS & VCDS-Mobile with HEX-NET Enthusiast is a diagnostic interface designed for Volkswagen Group vehicles, including VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda models from 1996 through current model years. This system utilizes the HEX-NET hardware, which functions as a 'dongle' and includes built-in activation for both the full-function VCDS software and VCDS-Mobile. Users can connect via wireless WiFi or a wired USB connection, transforming a Windows PC into a factory-level diagnostic tool. This enthusiast version of the HEX-NET interface supports diagnostics on up to ten unique VIN numbers. It is compatible with all diagnostic-capable VW/Audi cars, including the latest models that require a direct CAN connection and utilize the UDS/ODX protocol. The HEX-NET also includes a detachable 2-meter long USB A to USB B screw locking wire for a secure connection. While the HEX-NET Enthusiast offers comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, it is important to note specific limitations and requirements. Software and documentation are not shipped with the product and must be downloaded from the Ross-Tech website. Additionally, a Windows PC is required for setup and updates, even if VCDS-Mobile will be used via a web browser on a different device. Live telephone technical support for vehicle diagnosis is not included and is available separately or with Pro-Kits. This product is not compatible with Routan, Transporter T7 (2025+), or Amarok Mk2 (2023+) models.
