Description

The Victron Energy ASS030700000 is a VE.Can RJ45 terminator. It is used to properly terminate VE.Can communication networks, ensuring reliable data transfer between compatible Victron devices. This product comes in a bag of two.

Any CAN network is a daisy chain network and should end on both ends with a terminator. These CAN connectors share the same signals, and a terminator is required at each end of the bus. For VE.Can and CAN networks, the terminator is an RJ45 with 2 x 100 ohm resistors. Often it also works without termination, but it is more stable with it.
