The STM Velocity Secondary Clutch serves as a high-performance replacement for Gen3 Chassis Outlander vehicles featuring the stock P-Drive clutch system. Constructed with an all-billet design, this assembly utilizes STM Gen 1 ATV-style helixes to optimize power delivery. It is compatible with either the stock primary or the upgraded STM Velocity Primary Clutch. Installation requires that you contact the manufacturer upon ordering to provide specific machine details, as the clutch must be built to match your vehicle's requirements. The assembly uses standard OEM or OEM-replacement belts and includes a belt removal tool for convenience. It secures using the stock retaining bolt and washer, which must be torqued to 15 ft/lbs plus an additional 180 degrees. Because every riding style differs, this unit requires user-led fine-tuning after installation to achieve optimal performance. While popular baseline configurations exist, such as the 42-degree helix and KSS8 lime green spring recommended for aggressive trail or dune riding, the final setup adjustment remains the responsibility of the customer.
