Velocity Stack Intake System

The Integrated Engineering IEINDB4 air intake system is engineered to enhance airflow for VW MK8 GTI, Golf R, and Audi 8Y S3 models equipped with the 2.0T EA888 Gen 4 EVO engine. This system features a race-inspired, built-in velocity stack bellmouth shape designed to efficiently guide large volumes of air from the 5-inch filter surface area directly into the intake piping. This motorsport-inspired design prioritizes maximum airflow with minimal drag and turbulence, contributing to improved engine performance. The intake system boasts a one-piece turbo inlet design, eliminating the need for silicone couplers and reducing potential power-robbing turbulence. It includes a turbo adapter to ensure optimal flow without requiring an additional inlet component. Installation is straightforward, typically taking 30-45 minutes and requiring only basic tools, thanks to its factory-style mounting and precise fitment. Dyno testing indicates significant performance gains, with Stage 2 tuning on an iE intake system yielding up to +35 HP and +20 ft-lbs of torque over Stage 1 tuning with a stock intake on a VW Golf R. Optional upgrades are available, including a high-gloss carbon fiber lid to enhance engine bay aesthetics and an upgraded 8-pleated filter for harsh climates, sold separately. This intake system is designed for 2022-2024 VW GTI, Golf R, and Audi S3 vehicles with the 2.0T EA888 Gen 4 EVO engine.
