Venom Cold Air Intake System

The Halltech Venom Intake System (V2024) is a direct-fit, bolt-on cold air induction upgrade designed specifically for 2001-2004 C5 Corvettes equipped with LS1 or LS6 engines. This system enhances airflow delivery to the engine without the need for remapping or engine tuning, preserving factory calibration and drivability. The intake features a rotomolded design with a wide-surface, high-flow filter and an integrated velocity stack flange to optimize airflow. Halltech has been designing Corvette-specific intake systems since 1999, focusing on airflow stability and measurement accuracy. The rotomolded construction maintains shape and efficiency under various conditions, while the washable, high-flow filter contributes to long-term serviceability. Installation is described as straightforward, typically taking about an hour with basic hand tools, and does not require cutting or wiring modifications. The system retains the OEM MAF sensor and harness. However, this intake is not legal for sale or use in California or other CARB states unless it has a separate EO number. It does not fit 1997-2000 C5 Corvettes without specific LS1/LS6 intake provisions and is not designed for C6 or later Corvette platforms.
