This vent is designed for either intake or exhaust and meets ABYC H-2 cross-sectional area requirements. A ventilation hose twists into the bottom of the box to create a raised water barrier. It requires a collector box, specifically model 1487A for a 3-inch system or 1487B for a 4-inch system.
