This shield is constructed using an advanced aluminized heat-reflective material, backed by a robust hi-temp rated glass fiber insulation barrier, enabling it to effectively reflect radiant heat up to an impressive 2000°F. Designed for universal application, the Versa Shield measures 7 inches wide by 24 inches long, and can be easily trimmed to fit your specific needs. Its innovative design features a hook-and-loop edge closure system, allowing for secure attachment to various components without requiring their removal in most installation scenarios. This makes it ideal for protecting not only starters but also other critical parts like master cylinders, cool cans, distributors, and fuel pumps. With a direct heat resistance of 500°F and a radiant heat resistance of 2000°F, the Versa Shield provides a reliable thermal barrier.
