The valve utilizes an oversized 38mm piston and Buna-N O-rings for a secure seal and efficient pressure release.

The GrimmSpeed Version 2 Bypass Valve is engineered to address boost leaks found in stock and other aftermarket bypass valves, especially at higher boost pressures. This updated design features a redesigned internal piston made from hard aluminum, which is lighter than the previous brass piston, leading to better valve response. The main body and base are CNC-machined from billet 6061 aluminum for strength and reduced weight, then anodized in black or red for corrosion resistance and a premium look. Internally, the valve employs a massive 38mm diameter piston and sealing ring, coupled with Buna-N O-rings, to create a perfect seal and eliminate leaks. This oversized design allows for quick pressure dumping, protecting the turbo from damage and ensuring leak-free operation even on high-boost applications. A precisely tuned steel spring manages the valve's tension, eliminating the need for any engine tuning or adjustment. Installation is made easier with a swivel air fitting that accommodates custom setups and routing. It is compatible with 2004-2021 Subaru STI, 2002-07 Subaru WRX, 2004-08 Subaru Forester XT (with STI-Style TMIC for 2004-05 models), and 2004-06 Subaru Baja XT (with STI-Style TMIC).
