The Ksport Version DR Drag Race Coilover Kit (CMZ100-DR) is purpose-built for serious drag racing applications, engineered to reduce elapsed times (E.T.) and 60-foot launch times. It is important to note that this kit is not intended for daily driving use. Every Version DR kit is custom-valved for drag racing, with spring rates carefully selected to maximize traction and regulate weight transfer at launch. The kit configuration is tailored specifically based on whether the application is FWD, RWD, or AWD to ensure the most effective weight transfer characteristics for that drivetrain layout. Key features include a race-derived platform built on Ksport's proven Version RR road race coilover foundation, modified for drag racing rigors. It offers 36-way adjustable damping for fine-tuning compression and rebound across 36 individual settings. The monotube high-pressure design dissipates heat faster and more evenly than twin-tube designs, allowing for more precise damping adjustment with reduced aeration and cavitation. Advanced pillowball upper mounts, standard on MacPherson strut applications, enable camber and caster adjustment for precise alignment tuning, while billet aluminum components like mounts, collars, and spring perches ensure lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant construction.
