The Ksport Version DR Drag Race Coilover Kit represents a specialized suspension solution derived from the proven Version RR Road Race Coilovers. These kits undergo internal modifications to endure the unique demands of drag racing. Each Version DR kit is custom-valved specifically for drag racing, with carefully selected spring rates and shock valving designed to optimize weight transfer during launches, thereby maximizing traction and aiming to reduce Elapsed Time and 60 Ft times. The engineers at Ksport design each kit differently based on whether the vehicle is Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), or All-Wheel Drive (AWD). This coilover system offers 36 levels of adjustable damping, providing the ability to precisely tune the suspension for optimal performance. Many applications for vehicles with McPherson suspension systems include pillowball upper mounts, which improve steering feel and response while a patented bearing design helps to mitigate turning noise. The coilovers utilize Monotube shocks, known for better heat dissipation and finer damping adjustment capabilities compared to twin-tube designs. The Ksport Version DR coilovers come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects. It is important to note that the Ksport Version DR Drag Race Coilover Kit is not intended for daily driving use. Spring rates are specific to drag racing, with front spring rates at 24.8 kg/mm (1389 lb/in) and rear spring rates at 7.5 kg/mm (420 lb/in). The kit is compatible with 2001-2006 Lexus LS430 Base RWD models.
