Version RR Drag Racing Coilover System

The Ksport Version DR coilover system is specifically engineered for drag racing applications, aiming to reduce E.T. and 60 ft times. Built upon the proven Version RR platform, the DR system features internal changes and custom valving tailored for drag racing, with spring rates selected to optimize traction and weight transfer during launches. Ksport designs these kits differently for FWD, RWD, and AWD vehicles. It is important to note that this system is not intended for daily driving use. These coilovers offer 36 levels of adjustable damping, allowing precise tuning. They also feature independent ride height adjustment and spring pre-load adjustment, all while maintaining shock travel. The shock bodies are constructed from electroplated steel to resist rust and corrosion, and all mounts are made from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum. The upper mounts utilize all-metal pillowballs for enhanced steering feel and responsiveness, though this may introduce slightly more noise compared to OEM rubber components. A patented bearing system is incorporated to help mitigate noise during slow-speed turns. Compatibility is for the 1985-1986 Toyota MR2. The product includes pillowball upper mounts, which on many models, offer camber adjustability for alignment purposes, though this is not available on all models. The system employs a monotube, high-pressure design for better heat dissipation and finer damping adjustment. Dust boots with integrated bump stops are standard. Ksport provides a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. Spring rates are 6.3/353 kg/lbs for the front and 5.3/297 kg/lbs for the rear.
