These rear shocks offer an 8-stage adjustable damping system, allowing drivers to fine-tune their suspension for city streets or demanding off-road conditions with a simple dial adjustment. Constructed with a robust monotube design, these shocks are nitrogen-charged and feature an external reservoir that enhances oil capacity and damping responsiveness. The internal components include a substantial 2.5-inch diameter piston and a 22mm chrome-hardened piston rod, designed to surpass the performance of conventional reservoir shocks. Rough Country claims their 2.5-inch piston design provides 56% greater fluid capacity than average reservoir shocks. The shocks are further protected by a 3-stage seal system and are housed in a honed steel body for durability and longevity. Accents are CNC-machined from billet aluminum, and the finish includes a zinc plate with a double clear coat, offering over 400 hours of salt spray resistance. Each shock is specifically tuned for its application, ensuring optimal performance. The rear shock assemblies include a durable bracket system and a premium braided steel reservoir line.
