The Vertex Top End Piston Rebuild Kit includes everything needed for a top-end rebuild: a Vertex piston, rings, wrist pin, circlips, and a top-end gasket kit. The piston skirts are coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulfide coating for faster break-in time and increased piston life. The forged pistons are made from 2618 aluminum alloy, ensuring superior strength and durability. These forged replica pistons are designed as OE replacements and are heat-treated with a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle. All rings are OEM replacements. For 4-stroke applications, a Hot Cams cam chain is included. The gasket kit contains all necessary gaskets (head, base, exhaust, and O-rings) required when removing the cylinder and head during routine maintenance.
