The Vertex Pistons 24385C piston kit features skirts coated with a Molybdenum Disulphite coating for faster break-in time and extended piston life. These cast replica pistons are made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, ensuring a lightweight yet strong component. All pistons undergo a T-5 hardening and tempering heat treatment process for enhanced durability.
