Vertical Transmission Mount

The James Barone Racing (JBR) 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 Transmission Side Motor Mount is engineered to replace the original, weaker cast aluminum OEM transmission perch. This mount is unique on the market for its vertically oriented design and is offered in three durometer options: 70 (Street-RED), 80 (Street/Track-BLK), and 88 (Track/Strip-BLK), allowing you to tailor the performance to your needs. Construction details include a robust perch made from 1/4″ plate steel paired with a 2″ round solid steel stand-off. The functional end of the mount utilizes CNC-formed steel and 4130 sleeves to house the bushings, all precisely TIG welded for maximum strength and durability. The 70 and 80 durometer mounts feature a large, nearly 3″ diameter bushing designed with a proprietary polyurethane formula for a balance of performance and comfort. For ultimate performance with minimal deflection, the 88 durometer mount employs a smaller, harder 1.5″ diameter bushing. Its laser-cut, CNC-formed, and TIG-welded steel construction is finished with a powder coating to ensure resistance against corrosion. The installation is a straightforward bolt-on process, and all necessary hardware is included.
