The VF Engineering VFK14-01 is a supercharger system designed to improve throttle response and mid-to-top end power for the 1999-2000 BMW 3-Series 328.

This system utilizes a centrifugal Vortech supercharger and is set at 6 psi. VF Engineering has focused on maintaining original BMW quality, smoothness, and reliability through custom software development. The engineers spent over a year testing BMW ECUs to resolve issues faced by other systems and employed advanced software flash technology for a reliable installation. The software was extensively rewritten, with testing including long-term full throttle tests in various climates to ensure safe and optimal air fuel ratios.

The VF Engineering VFK14-01 supercharger system is engineered to enhance the performance of your 1999-2000 BMW 3-Series 328 (E46). It features a centrifugal Vortech V3 Si-Trim supercharger, designed to significantly improve throttle response and boost mid-to-top end power. This kit operates at 6 psi of boost, delivering substantial power gains. The system includes a T3 hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum bracket, chrome-moly support bracket, polypropylene air charge pipes, K&N Induction filter with a splash-resistant sock, high-capacity fuel injectors, a crankcase ventilation system, and a Bosch bypass valve circuit. An OEM serpentine belt is also included, and a Hex Flash ECU tuning programming cable is available as an optional add-on. VF Engineering emphasizes maintaining BMW's renowned quality, smoothness, and reliability. Their custom software, developed over 12 months of testing BMW Bosch and Siemens ECUs, resolves common stalling and MAF issues found in other supercharger systems. The tuning process involves proprietary algorithms and extensive road and dyno testing across diverse environmental conditions to ensure optimal air-fuel ratios, knock activity monitoring, and overall engine drivability. Specifications indicate a stock horsepower of 193 hp, increasing to 309 hp with this system, and stock torque rising from 206 lb/ft to 265 lb/ft. Installation time is estimated between 6 to 8 hours.
