This synthetic circulating oil meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) guidelines, designating it as an environmentally acceptable lubricant. Specially formulated from ester base stocks, Mobil SHC Aware H oils deliver exceptional anti-wear and film strength characteristics essential for hydraulic systems operating under demanding high load and high-pressure conditions. They provide outstanding load-carrying and anti-wear properties that protect critical system components against wear and scuffing, contributing to extended equipment life. These hydraulic oils offer excellent wide temperature range performance, surpassing the capabilities of non-synthetic environmentally acceptable oils. A shear-stable, high viscosity index ensures sustained component protection across a broad operating temperature spectrum. Additionally, excellent thermal and oxidation stability can help reduce maintenance downtime and costs by promoting system cleanliness and deposit reduction, thereby extending oil and filter life. The excellent demulsibility ensures efficient water removal in below-waterline applications, and the oils exhibit good compatibility with elastomers commonly used with conventional mineral hydraulic oils.
