The B&G V60-B VHF Marine Radio with DSC and AIS (Receive & Transmit) features an integrated Class B AIS transmitter and receiver, which both receives AIS targets and transmits the yacht’s position to nearby AIS-equipped vessels for collision avoidance. It has an integrated GPS receiver, a removable fist mic that can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, and can be expanded with up to two optional H60 wireless handsets, which also enable an on-board intercom. Other features include a Man Overboard (MOB) function and a Track Buddy feature that tracks up to 5 vessels by automatically requesting the position of another VHF radio at set intervals. It is a Class D DSC-approved VHF radio and has NMEA0183® and NMEA 2000® connectivity.
