This system captures high-definition footage with dual 1080p30 camera inputs, enabling both a primary view and a picture-in-picture display. The wide-angle lenses ensure thorough track coverage, and recordings are saved directly to an SD card or USB flash drive. Beyond video, the HD2 integrates seamlessly with vehicle data by logging up to 80 channels of CAN data from any compatible dash or ECU. This includes critical parameters like throttle position, engine RPM, and brake pressure, providing a deep dive into vehicle performance. Its HDMI output allows for real-time video and audio streaming to external monitors, recorders, or streaming devices, which is invaluable for live broadcasting and immediate feedback to race teams. Fine-tuning camera angles and display layouts is simplified through a dedicated app available for Android and iOS devices, which offers real-time camera output previews. The system also boasts customizable, high-definition graphical overlays for dashboard and gauge configurations, with pre-set scenes and the ability for users to create their own. An integrated 25 Hz GNSS receiver automatically identifies race tracks and sets up track maps and lap timing, further streamlining data analysis. To ensure no critical moments are missed, the HD2 features automatic recording, a pre-record buffer, and internal power backup.
