The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood is an OEM-style replacement hood designed for the 1998-2003 Dodge Durango 4-door models. It is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material with a high-gloss, UV-protective polyurethane coating.

The hood features a two-part construction with a carbon fiber top layer bonded with epoxy resin and a one-piece underside shell for structural integrity. VIS Racing also utilizes a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) to produce parts that are lighter and more durable.

The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood offers an OEM-style replacement for the 1998-2003 Dodge Durango 4-door models, providing a sleek black finish with a high-gloss, UV-protective polyurethane coating. This hood is crafted from Grade-A carbon fiber material, ensuring both strength and a premium appearance. VIS Racing employs a meticulous two-part construction design. The top layer consists of premium carbon fiber bonded to the hood surface using high-grade epoxy resin. This is complemented by a smooth, one-piece underside shell that is fused to the top layer, significantly enhancing the product's structural integrity. The edges are carefully hand-smoothed to ensure a superior finish all around. Further enhancing their manufacturing process, VIS Racing has introduced the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.). This advanced technique uses a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter than previous methods while simultaneously improving overall durability. The company is actively transitioning its entire range of carbon fiber parts to this V.I.P. process, allowing customers to benefit from these advancements without a substantial cost increase. Each VIS Carbon Fiber Hood comes with a genuine VIS badge of authenticity. Please note that hood pins are required for installation due to the product's intended uses. This product is designated for off-road use only, unless otherwise permitted by local and state laws.
