Vitara Piston and Ring Set

The Vitara YCP-75MMKIT provides a complete set of pistons, pins, clips, and Riken rings specifically designed for Honda D-Series blocks, including D15 and D16 engines. These components are tailored for high-performance turbo and forced induction builds, utilizing an AC8A casting grade that offers superior strength compared to standard OEM pistons. The pistons feature a Teflon coating to reduce friction, improve cylinder sealing, and increase overall engine longevity. Technically, these pistons include 19mm floating wristpins that are compatible with aftermarket forged D16 connecting rods. The design incorporates dual oil holes to ensure superior wristpin lubrication and is highly resistant to heat. To ensure proper operation and avoid failure, the manufacturer specifies that the pistons must be installed with the arrows pointing toward the flywheel side of the engine to maintain correct valve relief orientation and piston pin offset.
