The Vmaxx Stage 2 Coilover Package by Flyin' Miata provides a balanced approach to suspension tuning for 1990-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata models. By pairing V-Maxx coilovers with Flyin' Miata sway bars, this kit enhances cornering performance, allowing for a flatter, more responsive feel during transitions. The sway bars are hot-formed from 4140 CrMo spring steel, featuring two settings in the front and three in the rear for fine-tuning handling balance. The coilovers feature fixed damping paired with a 1/2-inch shorter rear shock body to maximize compression travel. They utilize adjustable spring perches for ride height and cornerweighting, with front spring rates of 391 lb/in and rear rates of 258 lb/in. Each kit includes NB upper mounts and necessary hardware to allow for seamless installation in NA chassis models without the need for a spring compressor. Please note that this system is not compatible with Flyin' Miata's rear upper mounts, as this configuration exceeds the available compression travel. Use of factory upper mounts is required. Because these spring and damping rates are significantly stiffer than stock components, it is recommended that these parts be used on vehicles with additional chassis bracing, such as an FM butterfly brace.
