Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. This intake is dyno-tested to ensure boosted performance with the stock tune. No computer retuning is necessary. The oil filter improves vehicle performance due to its innovative design, is washable, and reusable. The CNC mandrel bent intake tubing has a durable finish. The heat shield is innovatively designed to effectively block hot air from the engine to ensure that it performs optimally in your truck. Easy installation, utilizing factory mounting holes and no cutting or drilling required. Covered by a limited lifetime warranty (filter covered by a 1-year warranty).
