This filter is specifically designed to allow the highest air flow rate possible for maximum power gains but deliver a very long filter life and maintenance intervals (up to 40K miles depending on driving conditions). The larger Cool Air box incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. It increases horsepower, torque, and can boost fuel efficiency (some users report 1-2 MPG increase). Most models install in 1 hour or less with standard household tools. The system includes stainless steel marine-grade clamps and molded polyethylene ducts. It's equipped with a power-inducing enclosed air box and a clear inspection window.
