Utilizing volcanic rock material, this shield retains heat within the turbine housing, which aids in maintaining consistent boost pressure, especially during aggressive driving. Constructed with a rugged outer layer that is 25% stronger than fiberglass alternatives, the Lava Turbo Shield offers enhanced durability and a longer lifespan. Its silica contact layer is rated for 1800°F continuous heat and 2200°F intermittent heat, while the Inferno® Core insulation helps keep the cold side cooler than OEM metal shields. This design contributes to consistent boost levels even with rapid throttle changes. It is suitable for both traditional and v-band turbo housings. Specific fitment is for Subaru TD04, TD05, TD06, and RHF55 turbos.
