The Metra AXTC-VW2 is a data interface and SWC designed for select Volkswagen vehicles from 2015 onwards. It combines features of the ASWC-1 with additional patent-pending technology for radio installations. This interface automatically detects the vehicle, radio connection, and presets, while allowing for dual assignment of steering wheel controls. It provides NAV outputs, a 10-amp accessory power output, and a 12-volt illumination output, all while retaining the factory R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power), balance, and fade functions.
