The Lunati Voodoo hydraulic flat tappet camshaft is engineered for a performance-oriented operating range of 2000-6000 RPM. It offers a duration of 233 degrees on the intake and 241 degrees on the exhaust at 0.050 inch lift, with corresponding valve lifts of .564" and .583". To achieve optimal performance and ensure proper operation, this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications. A compression ratio of 9.5:1 or higher is necessary, along with a stall converter rated between 2800-3000 RPM and rear axle gears in the 3.55-3.73 range. Expect a very rough idle due to the aggressive nature of this performance camshaft. This camshaft is compatible with a range of Ford FE V8 engines, including the 352 (5.8L), 370 (6.1L), 390 (6.4L), 410 (6.7L), 427 (7L), and 428 Cobra Jet (7L). It is also listed as compatible with various Ford car models such as Fairlane, Galaxie, Mustang, Shelby GT500, Thunderbird, and Torino, as well as certain Ford trucks from 1972-1997 with the 6.1L engine.
