These Voodoo camshafts are ideal for a wide array of high-performance applications, delivering significant gains in both horsepower and torque. This specific retro-fit hydraulic roller camshaft features an advertised duration of 270 degrees for the intake and 278 degrees for the exhaust. At 0.050 inches of lift, the duration is 219 degrees intake and 227 degrees exhaust. With 1.5 ratio rockers, the gross valve lift is .515 inches intake and .530 inches exhaust, increasing to .566 inches intake and .582 inches exhaust with 1.65 ratio rockers. The camshaft operates effectively within an RPM range of 1800-5800, with a Lobe Separation Angle (LSA) of 112 and Intake Centerline (ICL) of 106. It uses hydraulic valve lash for both intake and exhaust. Designed for optimal performance, the Lunati Voodoo cam is noted to work well in towing applications when paired with lower gearing and a 2000 RPM stall converter. It is also recognized as a strong choice for performance marine applications, particularly for inboard/outboard setups. The product includes the camshaft only; other necessary components may need to be sourced separately.
