Description
The Ripple 1820CHRYS36SDS-STD is a comprehensive supercharger system engineered to significantly enhance the performance of the 2018-2023 Chrysler 300 equipped with the 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine. This kit aims to deliver a projected 400-450 wheel horsepower directly to the ground, making it suitable for daily driving. It is also compatible with All Wheel Drive models, which can achieve a projected 400-415 wheel horsepower.
Key components of this system include a Vortech V3 Self-Contained Centrifugal Supercharger, an air-to-air front-mounted intercooler, larger plug-and-play primary injectors from FIC, and a proprietary plug-and-play MAP sensor. The system is supplied with basemap ECU calibrations from RIPP, facilitated through HP Tuners. Installation is estimated to take eight to ten hours by a licensed mechanic, and RIPP claims it is the most complete and easy-to-install system on the market.
Preliminary tests indicate that a stock automatic 3.6 Pentastar Chrysler 300 produces around 255 rear wheel horsepower (WHP). With the RIPP Supercharger installed, this can be safely increased to over 425 WHP and 360 ft-lbs of torque. Users have also reported an improvement in fuel economy, ranging from 1-4 MPG combined city/highway. RIPP emphasizes extensive testing in various climates and altitudes to ensure optimal drive quality.
This complete system includes all necessary hardware and a basemap tune. A critical requirement for all 2015+ Dodge Chargers, Challengers, and 300s is an unlocked PCM from HP-Tuners; the unlock service is included with the supercharger kit. The kit comes with a Vortech V3 Si Trim Supercharger, Vortech MX Flow Race Bypass Valve, FIC Plug and Play Injectors, MAP sensor, front-mounted intercooler and hardware, aluminum mandrel-bent charge piping, HP-Tuners PCM unlock service with bypass cable, and an HP Tuners Engine Management RTD OBDII module. A RIPP tune, dyno-tuned for best results, is also included, along with CNC supercharger mounting brackets, idler pulley assemblies, a Gates belt, coolant crossover assembly, air filter and intake piping, cast air intake, and all required vacuum lines, T's, and adapters. Fully illustrated color instructions, a 1-year warranty, and tech support are provided. An optional Heritage Edition offers a louder, traditional supercharger whine with a V-1 Straight Cut Gear Set, and a Black powder coat option is available for a sleek finish on charge pipes, FMIC, and blower. It's important to note that 2017+ Chrysler 300 model years are NOT currently 50 State Legal.
